I did for a year, back in 2005 while in college. Loved the language, hated the program. Sadly I only learned a little, cause of how bad the program was. Yet, I still would love to try again and learn it.

Konichiwa!! I would LOVE to learn the japanese language! I have a Japanese to English dictionary and a Japanese phrasebook.I use what little I've learned from them and the t.v. mini-series "Shogun".
Example...I am a Buk-kyo(no).[a buddhist]. I follow the teachings of Hotoke-sama.[Buddha].

Wakarimas ka? Honto ni arigato gozaimas.

It's a a very complicated language for sure. But, it's fun to be able to pick up a few words and phrases. A language that I would definitely like to learn!

Abayo!

:D :D :D :D :) :) :) :o

I studied it in high school for four years. I'm not fluent, though.

This is a good online dictionary.

And today I picked up a copy of "Dirty Japanese" so I can learn all the phrases my course won't teach me, but which will be quite useful when hanging out with friends or looking to scandalize the locals when I am in Japan!
