MOVIE - DESTINY: THE TALE OF KAMAKURA

Saw this announced on on SciFi Japan - http://www.scifijapan.com/articles/2017 ... from-toho/

Since my wife is from Kamakura, I am of course interested in the movie, and now I want to watch it!

Looks like a fun movie.
But I hope it doesn't bring more tourists to Kamakura, as the streets are too busy already!

I hope it eventually comes out with English subtitles.

It looks like a wonderful movie.

We visited Kamakura in April 2017. This is a side of the area we missed. We would love to return. The Bamboo Forest there was much better than the more famous one in Kyoto.

Wow, I am so impressed to hear you say that about the Bamboo Grove of Kamakura. I visited Hokokuji during one of my earliest visits, and loved it. Ever since I have wondered how it compared to the Bamboo Forest at Kyoto. There is so much to explore in Kamakura (well, all of Japan actually)!
