Hello everyone, long time no see.

I am looking for good Japanese Historical-Fiction novels in the same vein as Cloud of Sparrows, Shogun, Taiko, Musashi*, etc.

Any recommendations?

*They must be available in English.

Check out this web-site, it has a much better list of books set in Japan than I could ever hope to suggest.

As far as easy to find novels, I would personnally recommend:

1. the Sano Ichiro mystery series by Laura Joh Rowland, set in Genroku period Japan (Shinju, Bundori, The Way of the Traitor, etc)

2. The Sugawara Akitada mysteries of I. J. Parker, set in Heian Kyo Japan (Rashomon Gate, The Hell Screen, The Dragon Scroll, etc)

3. The Judge Ooka and Seikei series of mysteries by Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler, set in 18th-century Japan (The Ghost in the Tokaido Inn, The Demon in the Teahouse, The Sword that Cut the Burning Grass, etc)

4. The Zenta and Matsuzo series of samurai mysteries by Lensey Namioka set in Japan towards the end of the 16th-century (The Samurai and the Long Nose Devils, Valley of the Broken Cherry Trees, Village of the Vampire Cat, etc)

5. The historical novel of Lucia St Clair Robson (The Tokaido Road)

Thank you very much.

Do you know if the books listed on the website you linked to are available in English or not?

Thank you again.

I believe everything on that list was either written in English or has been translated into English.
