In Japan is there a common pet name a husband would give his wive and vice-versa, like "darling" or "dear" or some such?

"Anata" ("you") is often used as a term of endearment by a woman to her husband.

I don't know is there is a reverse equivalent.

Baka!

(at least that is what the wives are always calling their husbands in the movies)
