I thought that the second Go-Lion AMV was pretty fun.

I've never made any of these things myself, but here are a few made by other people that I like:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjib3B5GJts

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu5pn4MM3Mc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I2TNbRFjW4 (Not exactly an AMV, but still hilarious)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atTnLMKAM1k

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twk5O9D-B08 (Cowboy Bebop + Ennio Morricone = Awesome)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S1JX8wIvjo (This should be the real theme music for this show)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWWTqa4ddNg (Warning: Black Jack AMV with some surgical gore) (House is to Black Jack what The Lion King is to Kimba the White Lion)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoroHeBQxd8 (Am I alone in preferring GITS: Standalone Complex to the manga or either of the movies?)

There used to be an AMV on Youtube that used Lupin III footage with a Cheech and Chong song, but I can't find it now.

Lupin! :D

And I finally have the title for that one song (Moskau).

People tell me I should watch Cowboy Bebop in English, but my conscience won't let me go without seeing it all the way through in Japanese at least ONCE.

I withheld 3 of my videos because they were Tokusatsu, not anime. But I might as well post them here...

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop has a good English dub. Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex has a good English dub too. It uses at least a few of the same people who did the English dub for the movies. I tend to be a "subtitle purist," but I can make exceptions if an English dub is a good one.

I think anime dubbing has come a long way since the 70s and 80s. If you want some idea of just how far it's come, have a look at some of this guy's videos:

This one made me laugh the hardest:

I think it would be fun to be an anime voice actor, but I doubt that I have the right voice for it.

I made a new video! :D

It's a Tokusatsu Music Video (TMV) of Super Sentai, the series Power Rangers gets stock footage from. What do you think?

You may need Japanese text support to view the site correctly...

None of these are mine, but once I get around to making my own I'll post them here too.

Anyway these are AMVs that I have collected over the years and really like. it is a shame a lot of the new ones I see today are no where as good as some of these older ones.

I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned AnimeMusicVideos.org yet...

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/

Membership is free, and there's a lot more of the most recent AMVs with higher image quality than YouTube (downloads best viewed with the latest version of the free VLC Media Player)

I recommend:

"Be A Man" (Gurren Lagann) by Nighthawk

"Muppet Hunter D" (Vampire Hunter D) by Zury_Talbourne

"I Can't Wait To Be King" (Escaflowne) by DWChang

"Disney in D(WChang) Minor" (Naruto) by mckeed

"One Day More" (Macross) by OtakuOutpost

"We Need You!" (various) by Vlad_G_Pohnert

"The Wizard of Ozaka" (Azumanga Daioh+Various) by suberucker

"You Know My Name" (Code Geass) by Studio Hybrid

"The Purpose of Persocoms" (Chobits) by Sean Thordsen

"Mitternacht- Special Edition" (various) by Pwolf

"caffeine_encomium" (Kodomo No Omocha/Kodocha) by Kevin Caldwell

"Hale's Mom" (Hare+Guu) by Ktype

"Light The Fire Within" (various) by silver_moon

"Leaves of Happaness" (various) by BaHaRa

"Odorikuruu" (various) by Aokakesu_Digital

"'Bustin" (FFVII:Advent Children) by Driftroot

"Ouran High School Never Ends" (Ouran High School) by MeliChan923

"Right Now Someone Is Reading This Title" (various) by Dokidoki

"Rainbow Revolution" (various) by Vellure

*whew!*

I believe some of these are on Youtube as well, but not posted by the original creators.

I remember AnimeMusicVideos.org even though I haven't looked at it in a long time.

I remember that I pulled a pretty fun AMV that combined "Who are the Brain Police?" by Frank Zappa with footage from various Lupin III tv episodes and movies off of the site and posted it on YouTube, but it got removed due to a copyright violation. :(

More Fist of the North Star!

http://zoome.jp/kaorunochannel/diary/42/

The actual AMV part of it is taken from the movie Shin Kyuseishuu Hokuto no Ken ZERO: Kenshiro Den, which tells the story of what happened between Shin leaving him for dead and his appearance in Lin's village.

The rest of it is mostly footage from the original anime used to establish when it happens.
