Here's a cool little thing I stumbled across...I wonder if the author knew anything about UY...

After reading the wiki article and doing a Google image search for the Japanese name, I came to the conclusion that it is definitely not anything I would find of interest. But it is still a great name for a comic!

I found a scan translation of it online. It is pretty cute. But it seems to play more off the fact the main characters wife is obsessed with making festival rabbit masks. At the same time the main character is trying to become a perfect samurai so he does not have to commit seppuku, like his father and older brother, who both did things that accidentally dishonored them.
Read some more, the main charter has a fighting style he refers to as Rabbit, and later decided to start his own dojo to teach this sword fighting style. Also there are many puns on how he looks like a rabbit.

I like how they train at the Usagi Dojo.

I agree. I love the giant rabbit face on the front of it.

You have a point there!
Maybe someone could find a scan of the outside of the Usagi Dojo with the name on a sign in Japanese which we could post somewhere on the Dojo site?
