Stuff like this is one of the main reasons why I love the Internet:

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, it appears that only a few of the records can be directly downloaded from the site, but some more mp3s are available in this big torrent:

Cool! My father use to own a Japanese furniture company, he called it Orient East, in the mid 70s to late 80's. It was the first in Maryland and one of the first in the US. They also sold Chinese furniture, which was big, because prior to this China was not trading with the US. Anyway, they had piles of 8 tracks of traditional Japanese folk music. Sadly, when my Dad sold the company in the late 80's he left all them there. He never thought years later I would gain an interest in Japan and it's culture.

Man I remember that store, though back then I was kind of creeped out by a lot of the Japanese and Chinese stuff they had. Alot of it had images or carvings of ghost, ghouls and/or, scary looking warriors. Then when I became older I start to appropriate and love this art work. Sadly by then Orient East was long gone.
