about furry ninja high school

Post by gunblade007 »

hey everyone,
i got a question about ninja high school comics. i think i read stan did a usagi yojimbo and ninja high school cross over. i just heard of furry ninja high school which is the characters with animal bodies. i went on shanda fantasy arts and it said furry ninja high school is for mature readers.. but it looks clean to me. but shanda the panda is an adult comic book too. i was wonding if it's just furry ninja high school that's for mature readers or is it ninja high school too? i like to read it but not if it's for mature readers.
thank you for your time.

I have a copy of Shanda The panda #10 which features a cover by Stan Sakai. It has been a while (few years) since I read it, but i seem to recall that it had adult themes and relationships described in it. I don't recall anything that could be considered pornagraphic or obscene in it, but I've only read one issue.

I have a copy of Ninja High School Yearbook #6 which also featured a cover by Stan Sakai. I don't have any distinct recollections concerning the content of the stories, but don't think they had anything that could be concidered obscene or pornographic.

Furry Ninja High School is a relatively recent spinoff / take-off of Ninja High and I have never looked through or read any of them. If Stan did a cross-over with it, this is the first I've heard of it.

Abayo...

stan also did a cross over in a comic book speical isseue called in the zone which paid for cancer people. i look at shanda the panda comics and most of their comics are adult comics. which is really sad. it looks good but the ones for kids just isn't my interest. shanda comics is like archie comics but archie comics is for kids. which i like.

Shanda is a mature title. It's a slice of life series that deals with adult relationships. I did do a cover for one of their issue (#10).

I also did a cover for a Ninja High School Yearbook featuring a couple of their characters and Usagi.

Both publishers are good friends of mine.

In the Zone was a benefit book for a cartoonist who has since died of cancer. His character's name was Zonie, hence the name. Stan Lee even wrote the introduction for it.

I'm not familiar with Furry Ninja High School though..

Unfortunately, In the Zone is long out of print. I've only got my one contributor's copy myself. Your best bet would be to contact the publisher, Shanda Fantasy Arts. I'm sure they have a website.

If you're a fan of Stan Lee, be on the lookout for The Art of Usagi Yojimbo coming out this fall. Stan, a good friend of mine, wrote the introduction for that book.

cool i didn't know you and stan lee were good friends. on friday i mail my story submit to marvel. it should get there sometime on monday or tuesday. but my story is more of a marvel story. it deals with mutants saving the world with their mutant powers. but my mutants are from a different planet who lost their memories. if you ever see stan lee gave him a good word about me. please that would really help me alot.and dark horse too i don't care which i join dark horse or mavrl or beckett would be a great job for me i know dc comics is is run by the same person who runs dc comics so both companies work together that's why they do some many cross overs. that would be my last and final falvor mr.sakai-san. i'll be really greatful too. i don't want to work there for the money or frame just to get my story printed.thank you for your time.
