That first Usagi piece makes me cry. That is something I would pay an arm and a leg for. I know you would not, but if you ever decided to part with it, let me know. Wow, that is seriously gorgeous.

I had to steal that image from your flicker and make it my desktop. Such wonderful coloring and charismatic composition. Words do not do the piece justice. I guess you could say I am jealous.

The first piece is based upon the tip-in plate for the h/c Bridge of Tears, and was a watercolour effort auctioned off in aid of the Cartoon Art Museum, where Stan had a recent exhibition of work. I threw in a random proxy bid and won! However the piece was sent to Kris for security, cost and no Customs interference, so I didn't get to have it in my hands until two weeks ago.

Ah, the Cartoon Art Museum auction : the only auction i could have won with you in competition, since i knew your offer, but Morgane didn't want it, she did right, instead i hope one of those days i 'll get a special comission piece ^_^
