I was out most of the weekend and really tired, and completely forgot about the auctions last night *doh*
If anyone here got the Usagi/Nilson piece than congrats, I would definitely have gone higher than the final price (some $560 w/ premium).
Imagine the auctions last night probably went for less than the other ones will go for because last night was internet only, whereas the one for the #21 cover et al mentioned at the start also have in person on floor bidding too.

There was the previous mention set of four pieces sold just this evening, sadly it went beyond my current budget, even though it has been extended a little recently. Don't suppose any one here might have been lucky enough? I suspect the recent announcement for the crossover may have increased interest. Would have loved the Usagi in water piece, but it went more than I really wanted to spend ($2270), in fact that's probably the most a non-published piece has sold for perhaps...?

The Usagi in water was by far the best piece, but even if I had $2270 sitting around I don't think I could pull the trigger. I wonder if Stan ever buys back some of his older work?

I think I remember somewhere hearing that Stan hand colored them himself and there were around 50 of them colored. Not sure. I own a non-colored one and have always wanted a colored one.
Might have to throw a bid in if it does not go too high!
The Credit Belongs to the Man Who is Actually in the Arena ....
Ah... well, I only own the b/w version of the Quiet Meal print also, so I may well throw a bid in too. Although I know roughly what it probably should be worth. Let the best man win (I suspect it won't be either of us though!).

I dunno, the coloured version of the Dragon print (available in b/w and colour like Quiet Meal) sold for under $200 (with BP), so it may not break the bank that much heh.
