I also saw Julie's commission, but I knew that one was for you as it had your name on it. It's beautiful as well.
Thank you!

Yep, the Samurai Mouse is mine. I love it! Something a little different from the usual run of Guards Mice. I wonder what his tale (tail) is?

The 'Tanaka' commission from Julie is for my sister-in-law in Japan. Going to get it matted and framed before I send it to them.

I was originally going to ask for a Mouse Ranger. I thought a Ranger would be neat, but after watching David do a live stream on Facebook, I thought, he does this type of character alot, so why not do something a little different. Since I'm a big Usagi fan, and I have this thing about Japan, why not a Samurai Mouse.
I think it would actually be neat if David were to introduce characters in the Mouse Guard universe from other parts of the world.

Yeah, that samurai mouse turned out incredible. Makes me wish I had thought of that idea before.

Just an FYI on the Mondo prints, they are all individually numbered, but it's done super lightly in pencil in the lower right side by the Sakai/Luth box. If you don't know it's there, it's easy to miss.

I'd have totally missed that.
I noticed that it can be hard to see , especially depending on the light source.

I wanted to send a special shout out to forum members Grusagi and Spam Musabi for being my SDCC buddies and helping me get extra signatures in my books, tickets to limited signings, keeping me company, and helping me acquire enough Mondo posters for everyone. They're good convention mates.

Also, thanks to Stan, Julie, Emi and Daniel for helping me at least once, though usually multiple times a day, as I returned to the Sakai booth over and over to buy everything. They were very gracious and made the whole buying process nice and smooth, even though there was usually a good size crowd around the table.

The Three Amigos! The UY Dojo is the best fan base on the internet. And the Sakai's are the best to their fans. Peace, maka

I have work this week, but plan on making a trip down to the box store on the weekend to figure out the best way to package the items. The trickiest part is deciding how to accommodate the Mondo prints.

With any luck, I'll get all the totals calculated and start shipping at the beginning of next week. Thanks for the patience.

What's this year's sketchbook like? Did someone say it's squarebound rather than saddle stitched this time?
I'm excited to see it, and hope it appears in Stan's store after everyone's recovered from the convention.

Hi Kyle and Dojo Members,
I am not sure if I am posting/replying correctly since this is quite new to me. However, I just wanted to thank YOU, Kyle, for being such a wonderful SDCC Santa Claus to so many, here! You made a very long list and were checking it twice! We were so impressed with your kind dedication as you weaved through the large crowds and patiently waited in many lines. And, you had such wonderful elves (Daniel and Adriel) who were so willing to go the extra mile, as well. The willingness to help one another in this dojo is such a sweet slice of heaven that warms my heart. I am so impressed with the camaraderie, here. Stan is so blessed to have such wonderful fans and friends. Unfortunately, for the most part, he has been sleeping for the past two days as he has caught a SDCC bug of some kind. :( He was sooo busy with all the interviews, meetings and signings that I think it all caught up to him. I made him chicken soup yesterday and today he asked for ochazuke like his mom used to make: rice, tea, furikake, umeboshi and topped with fried spam (Hawaii style!) :) Thank you, dojo members, for all that you do. <3

Hear, hear! Yes, Kyle truly is a special guy that goes above and beyond the call of duty! I nominate we build a statue in his honor! :D

But seriously, I'll say it once again, I owe Kyle a great big thank you! I wouldn't have half of the comics related collectibles and artwork that I do have, if it wasn't for Kyle. I'd also like to thank Grusagi and Spam Musabi for their unseen efforts in helping Kyle. These two mysterious assistants deserve some recognition too. Hopefully we can all meet one day, and I can thank them in person.

I'm so sorry to hear that Stan has come down with the SDCC bug. Please take extra special care of him (I know you will  ), and give him our best regards and well wishes! I hope you feel better soon Stan! While Stan is recovering, make sure to put Usagi to work with helping around the house! Don't let that stardom get to him!

And finally I'd like to thank you Julie, for the wonderful watercolor of the Tanaka family! I plan on framing it soon and my wife will deliver it personally to her sister when she visits home in September. Thank you very much!
どうもありがとうございました!

Kyle selflessly spent a large portion of Comic Con getting autographs, commissions and buying exclusives and comics for other dojo members. He walked 2 miles to an offsite location after a long day to buy some 'Master of the Universe' prints for a Dojo member while his friends sat and waited for their reservation at the 'Cheesecake Factory.' Not only did he front a lot of the money, he still has to ship out all that swag

Seriously who does that?! Kyle is a true mensch and I am honored and grateful to have him and Grusagi as friends.

I couldn't ask for better Comic- Con Companions.... Maybe Clara Oswald and Amy Pond... Or Martha Jones and Jack Harkness.... but Kyle and Adriel are definitely in the top 10 though. :D
