I love the post office people.

I had an employee spend 5 minutes yesterday telling me why the packages had to be mailed as first class parcels, then another 5 minutes today while another employee told me why the exact same kind of package has to be sent as a large envelope .... (with no tracking). :(

On the bright side, at least it wasn't the same employee.

Mailed three more packages today, one international ($11.75 - Mexico), one Priority ($6.45), and one first class..... wait ..... for .... it .....parcel ($2.54).

Apparently the packages are, or are not, flexible enough to qualify for the large envelope rate that I was charged on Friday, depending on the employee.

:D

And I still have not heard from a bunch of members who requested copies....

And anybody who sent an address and payment for postage, check the list in the original post for your mailing status. There are tracking numbers for (almost) everything mailed out so far, and they all seem to be scheduled to be delivered next Tuesday whether they were mailed first class or priority mail, including todays.....
Steve Hubbell wrote:Shipping costs for those wanting the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo 20th Anniversary Special mailed to them in the USA:

PACKAGING
$0.10 - Manila envelope
$0.15 - backing boards (2)
$0.15 - sketchbook size comic bag

POSTAGE
$2.54 - postage (First-Class Mail® parcel)
- or -
$6.45 - Priority Mail (Flat Rate Envelope)

International shipping will depend on location, so if anyone wants a copy mailed to them internationally but are either unable to attend one of the shows that Stan Sakai will be attending or are located outside of Europe where Mayhem can relay their copy to them (i.e. Australia), please send me a PM with your address so that I can get a price quote from the post office.

If Mayhem is picking up your copy directly from Stan in London and relaying it to you, please let both Stan and Mayhem know as soon as possible.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

Got mine today as well. Thanks Steve for putting this together and shipping so quickly. Also, thanks to everyone else that contributed to making this happen and of course to Stan for creating Usagi and sharing his time here on the forum.

I too was lucky enough to get mine at SDCF today and I got to see Robert too. :)

All you lucky 150 fans who get this special limited edition comic will enjoy it. I don't have the reprinted stories in my collection and Stan did a new one that doesn't disappoint. And it's FREE, thanks to Steve paying the bill. It is meant to be free (and says so on the cover). But remember anyone can give Steve an extra buck (or more) when paying for your shipping and handling. That goes a long way when you think of Steve braving the 5 degree weather (and shoveling snow) to get to the post office to mail these beauties to you.

That's a cool gift to us all, Steve! Thank you. It's beautiful! Well done!

Peace, maka
