Well I haven't received the latest SDCC update magazine yet. I guess it should come any time. I got some new, comfortable walking shoes, so here's hoping I can hold up better this year than usual. It's nice to have a booth to hide behind, but still, there is really no escape from the masses.

The site now lists them in Artists Alley.

I am frankly surprised Laird is not mentioned as a Special Guest-- Still, I will take what I can get!

Sadly Peter has said that he doesn't plan to attend San Diego and that his listing is an error. Hopefully the rest of the Mirage guys are still going...

Well Poo! I had such high hopes of meeting the man.

I'm pretty sure the rest are coming-- Lawson confirmed somewhere that he was going, but I suppose plans could change.

Yeah, you and me two... I had to ask in his blog and he confirmed his non-plannage of heading out sadly. I met Kevin last year, so hoped to finally get to meet Peter this year. Maybe I'll have to get myself to a New York con then...

On Wednesday, I picked up a free copy of the SDCC magazine at my LCS. Yours may have them too!

Sweet relief, I was looking over booth placements on the exhibitors' login area and found Sony's karaoke booth moved over to the corner of Hall G in aisle 5200. So Stan at 4906 and my brother's Stuart Ng Books at 5012 will be free of the noise pollution.

Stan will be facing Steve Morger's Big Wow Art booth at 4903. Steve says he will host Travis Charest, Frank Cho, Brandon Peterson, Ernie Chan, Doug Sneyd, Joe Jusko, Dan Brereton, Ted McKeever and a few others.

Best,

Steven

According to this article, Miyazaki will be at Comic-con:

Also, if you are looking for a room or wanting to upgrade to a better hotel, check the hotel listing this week and next. This week is the last week to cancel reservations before you lose your deposit. Those with extra rooms will be dumping them. Single night rooms have been popping up since May.

Hey Guys-

I've been offline for a bit working on a film I am shooting, so I'm sorry if I have missed the post.
Is there a time that the dojo members are meeting up. I'm sure I may run into one or two of you at Stan's booth (not that we would be able to idenify eachother :P ), but was curious if thee was a specific meeting time. I did see that Stan has a Usagi Panel on Sunday.

Actually, that's a good point, nothing has been arranged as of yet. Maybe at Stan's Sunday panel then..?
