Dear Readers,
Is it time to reprint Albedo 2 for those who would like to have a copy but cannot afford pay for a first printing???
The second printing could be a smaller sized book like an ashcan preview...
Or maybe the size of the UY Dojo comic book?
Best wishes to all.

ps While I am dreaming, I would also like to have a velvet painting of the cover to Albedo #2....
Is it time to reprint Albedo 2?

Re: Is it time to reprint Albedo 2?
I was able to go to Cartoon Crossroads Columbus in Ohio yesterday to see Stan and meet Julie for the first time.
A guy in line behind me was wearing one of the Usagi Nogginwear hats and had an Albedo #3 for Stan to sign. I said, "Nice. There are a lot of #3's out there... too bad you don't have a #2." He flips to the next book in the stack, and it was an Albedo #2! First one I've ever seen.
I wonder who owns the copyright to Albedo now. Or, would it be hard to find scans to the entire issue online?
And, a "Velvet Usagi"??
Funny!!

Steve Gallacci is still out there, I imagine he may well still do. Problem is, getting permission from people to republish what was IN Albedo 2. I imagine Stan might say yes anyhow. I don't have the issue to hand, is there any other strips in there bar Erma Felna and Usagi?

Yes,"The Lion and the Unicorn" by Lela Dowling.

Also 2 great letters from Peter A. Laird suggesting a trade of one TMNT #1 for one Albedo comic.
The second letter from Mr. Laird gives constructive criticism about Albedo.
"I especially liked the story by Stan Sakai....I'd like to see more."
There are some advertisements for Cutey Bunny, TMNT magazine and iron ons and the first Usagi Yojimbo tshirt.
Best wishes to all.

You know, it's been so long since I looked through Albedo #2, I'd completely forgotten that Peter Laird had letters in it.

Wasn't there something about the shading technique Stan did on Albedo #2 that was somehow impossible to reproduce? I remember reading something about that a LONG while back.
Have you visited The Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Annex?
