Shi were four assassins for hire, their name being derived from a play on
kanji, shi meaning both 'four' and 'death' depending on which kanji is used.
Each specialised in the use of one particular weapon and all worked as a
team to become a deadly and irresistible force. They were killed, one by
one, by Miyamoto Usagi, who first split them up, then picked them off as
they came for him.
