We've had a number of questions rolling in from fans, retailers and distributors alike about our new hit release, the USAGI YOJIMBO ROLEPLAYING GAME. Here are some of those questions along with the answers we know you've been waiting for!
Mark @ GRG (Gold Rush Games)
1. So what does the creator of Usagi think about the new Usagi Yojimbo RPG?
"It looks terrific!" -- Stan Sakai
2. What about supplements? Will Gold Rush Games be publishing supplements for the Usagi Yojimbo RPG?
Absolutely! We spoke with Stan Sakai and he's all for it. His concern was that we had enough ideas for add-on books. "Not to worry," I told him. "We have a ton of ideas!" I expect the first supplement to be out early this summer.
3. Will we see the infamous Jei in a supplement
I don't see any way around it. Jei is such a central character and a fan favorite. We are developing a supplement around him, in fact. And we also want to get the fans and players involved in Jei's design for the game, so we're planning to hold a contest on the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo web site. Stay tuned for more on that.
4. What if my retailer says they can't get the book?
We are continually selling the Usagi Yojimbo RPG to both game and comic distributors, as well as to Amazon.com and Borders Books. Because the Usagi Yojimbo RPG has an ISBN number and barcode, you can special order it from *any* book store! Your best bet to find it in stock is still at your local game or comic store, though.
5. Is there an Usagi Yojimbo RPG web page?
There sure is. It's part of the awesome Usagi Yojimbo Dojo. You can find it at http://usagiyojimbo.com/coolstuff/roleplayinggame.html.
6. I want to write for the Usagi Yojimbo RPG line. Are you accepting proposals for new supplements?
Absolutely! Check out our submission guidelines at our web site, at http://www.goldrushgames.com/
7. Are you looking for artists for supplements? I'd love to do some Usagi drawings!
Unfortunately no. At the moment we have plenty of artwork to draw from the comics, and Stan Sakai will continue to illustrate the covers of the books for the foreseeable future.
8. Will Tom Luth be coloring the covers of new books?
That is our hope, but it depends on his schedule. We'll let you know as soon as we find out.
