Synopsis
 

Priest Sanshobo relates to Usagi the reason he took vows. Once a hatamoto to Lord Ikeda, he went on a journey to a mountain temple to say prayers for his wife's spirit. A freak storm caused a fall that killed the son of a friend, so he sent his only son to death to preserve the honor of his family.
