Gunji, confident in the success of the mission, believes he is now the heir to the Neko Ninja Leadership. Usagi, Gen and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, lead by Leonardo, sneak into the camp to break out Kakera, but end up fighting the Ninja clan instead. Usagi sneaks away following wagon tracks leading from the camp. At a river crossing, Gunji attempts to assassinate Chizu and ensure his position as leader of the Neko Ninja clan. Usagi arrives and takes care of the Ninja guards, while Chizu kills Gunji. She walks away with a kiss, leaving Kakera with Usagi. The TMNT are returned home, while Gen and Usagi go their separate ways.
