In a roadside inn, Usagi enjoys a quiet meal. Unfortunately any
serenity that the inn has is shattered by the arrival of a group of gamblers
who order massive amounts of sake. They are asked by the innkeeper to keep
the noise level down and respond by throwing him out on his ear.
Looking around for more would-be interruptions to their fun and games,
they see a patron of the inn and proceed to make him follow the innkeeper.
This leaves Usagi, whom they crowd around, becoming further and further
frustrated when he refuses to react to their taunts and barbs. Demanding he
dance for them, he does nothing at all and they decide to throw him out
also. As they rush him, Usagi draws his katana and whirls it about them,
sliding it neatly back into its saya.
It takes the drunken gamblers some time to realise that although he did
not cut any of them, they flies that flew about him now lay in multiple
sections on the floor. They decide that perhaps what the samurai wants is a
quiet meal.
