Here's a few pics and sketches that Todd has dug up plus a few of my own I have scanned...don't worry more is on the way! As always, click on the thumbnail to see the full sized version.

This is the earliest sketch of Tomoe, done way back in 1983 I think. It was rejected by Stan because it was to human-like to fit with the other UY Chars at that time, most of which were shorter and stockier back then.

Here's an early shot of Tomoe Ame, this scene can be found in Book 1, "The Confession". Note how she's a bit heavier here than in her frist draft above

Another early shot ot Tomoe, but in color, this one I think is from the cover of a early collected edition from Fanagraphics, it had Usagi's early appearances plus a reprint of Issue 1, Volume 1... Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here :P

Tomoe as a youngster, learning at her father's school. Ain't she cute? But watch out, she may be little, but she's still tough! This one is from Tomoe's Origin Tale told in the first Color Special and has never been reprinted, Stan's working on that though!

Another Scene from Tomoe's Origin, she starts in the Woman's Quarters...but she doesn't stay there for long!

A small shot from the Second Color Special story "FoxFire". Another one of the few Usagi and Tomoe shots in color!!

A small panel following the great battle in Dragon Bellow Consperancy, I believe that there ARE word balloons here, but they were edited out of this image...

Tomoe gets a makeover! This was the first sketch Stan made of Tomoe with her new look! I believe it made it's first appearances early in the Dark Horse run...

One of the first looks at Tomoe's new look, this was shown in the 'recap' section in the first issue of the Dark Horse run.

A rough draft of Tomoe on the cover of Dark Horse Issue# 12, it was a flashback to the ending of Dragon Bellow, and what happened before returning to the Genishu Lands

As a special request for Todd-Shogun, Naomi turned her coloring talents to one of Todd's favorate scenes. It originally appeared as the final panel of "The Confession" and was reprinted in Book 1, it's also used as the endpapers for the Hardcover version of Book 1.
