I don't know of any songs or poems but there are many books based on stories of the samurai. On my book shelf are Tales of Samurai Honor by Saikaku and Legends of the Samurai by Hiroaki Sato. And there is, of course, Musashi and Taiko both by Eizo Yoshikawa.
