Well, Vlad, Lord Hebi makes his first appearance in "Lone Rabbit and Child" (UY Book One). It's the same story that introduces Noriyuki and Tomoe. He also shows up in "The Confession" (same book), "The Dragon Bellow Conspiracy" (Book Four), "Blood Wings" (a story in Book Five, it's also the first appearance of the Komori Ninja!), and one of my favorites, "The First Tenet" (originally in UY #11, Dark Horse, Trade Book Collection "Seasons"). Whew! Stan Sakai saind that Hebi will also be showing up in the current "Grasscutter II: Journey to Atsuta Shrine", as well. Hebi's background (how he came to serve Lord Hikiji and become his most-trusted vassal/henchman)...Hmmm. So far, Stan Sakai hasn't shown any of Hebi's personal past. That would be a great premise for a story (with plenty of skulking and conspiracy)!
