I have to agree. The cover is captivating. I couldn't take my eyes off of it (then I actually flipped it open and started reading). Wow. That was cool. :)
I almost wanted to cry for Yamato-dake, when the clouds rose up. The way his eyes were drawn, they looked like sad-puppy eyes, it was so powerful. Especially in contrast to just a few panels before, when he's kissing dirt and commenting that he must have been poisoned...the change of expression is so dramatic..
100 issues! RYAAAHH! (and, I've now gotten my little daimyo hands on volumes 1, 3, 5, and 6.. I haven't managed to actually buy 1, 3 or 5, yet, but after this I'm only missing tpb's 4 and 8. Yaay!)
