Need Kanji Help

This doesn't really have much to do with Usagi, but I am hoping there are enough Japanophiles on this board that someone can help us out.

A good friend of mine is making these really superb boken. The one I recieved was so fine that I dubbed it my "Wooden Soul". Which the craftsman liked so much that is what we will be calling the boken made in this fasion.

We are looking for the appropiate kanji for "Wooden Soul" to be carved in the handles of these boken and to be used as a logo, etc. The soul being the same character used when referring to a sword as a "soul".

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
