I have not read any of her short stories--just her novels. I am currently reading Black Lotus. I understand a new novel is scheduled to be out in a couple of months.

Dale's Kaze trilogy has been completed and has been available for a while. You could probably order them from Heritage Source (see Dojo homepage).
Dale had once mentioned he was thinking of a story set during the Gempei War.
I haven't seen him for a while. I heard he's in Japan now. Whether for work or for reseach, I don't know.
: 3) That Vagabond comic from Viz is supposed to be out now (issues 1 and 2), have you had a chance to check them out? I'm still trying to get copies of them for myself.
I bought the first two issues about three weeks ago. I did not know about them beforehand but saw them on the shelves. I think the first two issues hit the stand the same week. Vagabond is another adaptation of Yoshikawa's Musashi book.
There is already a listing for the first trade collection in the current issue of Previews, Diamond Distributor's order book. I think I'll start picking up the trades, especially since they seem to be following directly on the heels of the comics.
