Hi,

I've started to look up some of the names in UY to see what they mean. Can someone who actually understands what I'm trying to do check my translations? I also tried to add the kanji; hope they will survive the posting...

Miyamoto - ?? Court or shrine guard
Tomoe - Couldn't figure this one out
Ame - ? (hard) candy (she's sweet or what ;-) or ? rain.
Sanshobo - ?? man whose presence seems to cause rain OR ?? rain and wind; driving rain
Gennosuke - ?? bushhammer?
Katsuichi -
Noriyuki -
Hijiki -
Okii -

Anyone with the correct kanji or who knows what the names mean?
