: : The first thing I noticed was that the issue looked more "cheap". I've compared it to the last ones but I couldn't really put my finger on it until I compared it to one of the books. Ok, the paper is grey and not white but also the lines are less exact and much thinner. It looks "sloppy" to me and I always admired Stan for his clean and precise strokes.
: For the most part, the paper in the books have been of higher quality than that of the comics. As for the thinner lines...well, I started using my new pen half-way through UY 53 and, as I previously said, it'll take about a year to fully break it in.
Didn't see that one. Also, I wonder what kind of material such a pen could be to last so long when you use it all the time ;-) Titanium, maybe?
Well, at least it's good to hear that your traveling and hanging around with fans didn't wear you down but only your pen :-)
: : For the first sentence I thought: "Usagi found Kusanagi. Doesn't that make him tenno?"
: Usagi can not be emperor. Emperors of Japan trace their lineage directly to Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess. I've never developed Usagi's family tree but I'm sure it does not trace its roots to her.
So it's not the owning of the sword but the lineage which makes someone emperor. Is that still true for the current emperor? What of the side lines of the family?
Sorry, I simply can't give up the idea of Usagi having to face the fact that he could be the tenno and all the trouble which would come from that...
: : I wonder if Katsuichi will play a role in GC 3...
: He could. But that story won't be for quite a few more years.
=8*P So many other stories before that one? I was hoping you would keep the "pace" (GC1 ... two other books, GC2, ... etc). *sigh* Well, right on, Stan! Can't wait to ... waitaminute... so there *will* be a GC3!? I wonder how that can be when Kusanagi won't leave the Atsua Shrine... :-/ Ah, there is nothing like waiting for the next issue...
Nuff said,
