Both would be nice but are not really affordable for me, especially given the price of such things here in Australia.

Hmm, I don't have any of the Fantagraphics UY trades and really want them to complete my collection. Money aside, what would you go for - the separate trades or this collection? I'm leaning towards the collection (cheaper, more convenient) but I'm worried that all 7 trades collected in 2 hardcovers ...

Great work. As a primary school teacher, I can appreciate the amount of time and energy you put into it. I'm sure your students had a fantastic time. How about this for Seuss love? Or is it Bob Dylan love? Probably both, because someone has recorded Bob Dylan-styled songs that use Seuss's stories as...

Issue #99 - thoughts? (SPOILERS)

Please forgive me if there is already a thread for people's reactions to issue #99 - I couldn't find one (except for the preview art and cover). Stan, thanks for another fantastic issue. Very emotional, very sad. That last panel! Usagi has made a big mistake and he knows it. I know a lot of people a...

From the lyrics of Propagandhi:

"Success, the ability to perform within a framework of obedience"

Just thought I'd offer a different spin on things.

For me, being successful is being happy.

Even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia, I hope it was a great holiday for all those who do.

And for some unknown reason, my fave comic book shop is having a Thanksgiving sale, which means 25% off Usagi TPBs! Thank you very much!

Ah, this brings back fond memories of hot summer days during the school holidays during which time I'd sit in front of my C64 for hours, not caring about the heat. What you see him wearing is a daisho, a matched set of katana (long sword) and wakizashi (short sword). One of my students is researching samurai at the moment. Today he found out the names of the swords they used, so I told him that as a pair they are known as a daisho. One of my other students th...
