I thought the first episode was amazing. The most intense scene was in the stairwell where nothing even happened! I like that they are bringing some new stuff to the series and retaining the same attention to character from the comics. I am excited to see the direction they go from here. And happy t...

Thanks Maka, I can see the similarity. I grew up reading Usagi and so some of my style comes from Mr. Sakai. Although I was also into Appleseed, Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, Groo, etc.

Whimsy Corp.

Thought this would be the best place to post a link to the online comic series I am illustrating. Peter Wallace is the author. Not for kids BTW. www.whimsycorp.com Whimsy Corporation is going to be responsible for a whole plethora of awful things, but the first comic in the series (Working Dead) all...

Looking forward to it, but am cautiously optimistic. I agree that the original is one of the best and most subtle vampire movies ever made. Not sure why it needed a remake.

I am also looking forward to Black Swan, it looks like a vamp movie, but I am not sure.

Heya! I do a black and white comic book called "Gruesome". It's a book with several stories in it that last over a few issues. More adult and involves monsters and sci-fi themes. I sell the issues in local comic stores here in Indiana. What I do is this (and I am not a professional): Scan ...

I totally agree. I couldn't stand the live-action movie, and had never watched the originals. A couple of my cousins who are in High School recommended the Nickelodeon version. They also really disliked the movie. I have been watching the cartoon now non-stop and am into the third book. It's a wonde...

Not sure how adept you might be modding consoles you are, but you can softmod your Wii to play all your movies/music/photos. Softmod means you install program(s) rather than open up the console and make physical modifications. If you install WiiMC and Homebrew using a standard SD card then you can a...

Toy Story 3 was just amazing. Pixar manages to evoke complex emotions in the context of a children's movie. Just wonderful. It's a dream of mine to sit down with the team that pitches stories for these films. That and visit Ghibli to do the same. John Lassiter (Pixar Exec) has been instrumental in b...

@ Jet Like nothing else man. I've got the comic series and it is superb. I don't collect a whole lot of books, but this one is worth it. I highly recommend you pick it up. Only 8 issues I think and it completes it's arc. Initially the previews looked fairly bad, but when they released the Red Band a...
