Title suggestion: The Road to Hell

Is there any chance that the Lord Ito mentioned in the solicit for the Ice Runners story (issue of Usagi following the 200 Buddhas) is the same Lord Ito engaged to Tomoe? If so...interesting! I wonder what Usagi will make of him....and of course Hikiji will be in this mix somehow....

This is going to sound very geeky, but...I have an opportunity to go to Japan next year for quite a long period of time, with a lot of flexibility in the schedule. I'm not very good at all on historical Japanese geography...but nonetheless, I'm actually somewhat interested in the possibility of plan...

Out of curiosity, by fully painted, does that mean the interior work will be painted like the covers of the Grasscutter collections? Or just fully colored?

There are two kinds of Tengu; it's in the notes to volume 18. One kind has wings and is very birdlike, the other is the kind we see in the story, and these are the "master swordsmen" Tengu.

It is a strange coincidence, though.

I guess a lot of people already noticed this, but it hit me dumbfounded when I realized it. So far in Usagi Yojimbo, there's a strange formula that has allowed us to tell which books Jei, or at least The Demon entity that drives him (since it's now taken a new host), will have a significant role in....

This makes me recall a cancelled project Warren Ellis was planning, about a realistic meeting between Vikings and Samurai in ancient times. It sounded awesome...how about Usagi meeting some Viking travelers?

I suppose it's entirely possible that the lord will somehow turn out evil, and Noriyuki will call off the wedding. But I've a good feeling it will be more complex than that. I like the angle of her becoming a ronin, though that might be a bit repetitive, considering how the same thing sort've happen...
