PS, Any word on a new Usagi Yojimbo release from Devir Livraria? It has been a little while now since Daisho was published in 2008. Unfortunately, I think it will take several months. Portuguese is a bit like Spanish: http://www.devir.com.br/hqs/usagi_yojimbo.php http://www.devir.com.br/hqs/usagi_y...

Re: Brazil

Former Publisher (Via Lettera) released Books 1-3 (Fantagraphics).... Actually, the three books released by Via Lettera do not have the same corresponding contents to the first three books from Fantagraphics..... Unfortunately, Via Lettera cut some stories and (if I remember) "A Torre" is...

Kobayashi made my favorite Japanese film, Seppuku. What about Samurai Rebellion? In my opinion, the best "Samurai" movie ever :) My favorite is Ozu. I love his low camera angles, japanese clotheslines, and very little camera movement. And his films seem to always look at the conflict betw...

Which Mizoguchi film would be a good one to start with?

- Tales of Moonlight and Rain (Ugetsu monogatari);
- The Life of Oharu (Saikaku Ichidai Onna);
- The Crucified Lovers (Chikamatsu Monogatari);
- Sansho the Bailiff (Sanshō Dayu);
- Taira Clan Saga (Shin Heike Monogatari).

Steve,

Thanks! It's my pleasure to be here.

Well, I am sorry but I can provide nothing. I bought a lot (including these books and a HC) two years ago and I just know former owner was returning to US.

Maybe Stan Sakai can tell us something about it.

Former Publisher (Via Lettera) released Books 1-3 (Fantagraphics) and Devir started releasing Book 8 (Dark Horse). I believe could be a "Fantagraphics" pendency...

Thanks
