I vaguely remember reading somewhere that wheeled transport wasn't allowed, apart from goods, during the Tokugawa period. Does anyone here know if there is any truth to this? And what was the reason if so?

Thank you both very much! You're very kind :) I forgot to say that the ronin was inked using the Manga Studio drawing program rather than ink which is why it looks a bit different to the others. Thanks, I'm really pleased you like it. I don't have any other Usagi Yojimbo pics atm although I do have a couple of Japanese/samurai ones. Is it ok to post those here? And if so, should I start a new thread or use this one?

Here's a pic I did of Usagi and Gen sparring. I was testing some new pens and decided to draw my favourite rabbit bodyguard. I used a photo reference for the bodies, but the heads are mine.
