A question/character that has been bothering me for ages...

Page 119 in the Seasons book, Usagi has a feeling that someone is watching him, but decides to let it go, and walks on. Someon then appears in the final panel, saying 'be patient samurai, we will meet soon enough'. I didn't miss this person's re-entrance did I? Who is he? It's been bugging me for ag...

Stan, when are you going to come over to the UK then? C'mon...Madrid's only a couple of hours from the UK. Hey, I'll pick you up, put you up in a nice country farm house, give you breakfast. In return, you can feed my dogs (they'll like that), and do a little drawing for me... ;) But seriously, have...

I wonder whether Jei was the 'original'.

If his soul now inhabits Inazuma's body, who's to say that the previous body is merely another shell that this 'spirit' has used.

It'd be interesting to see his origins really.

I think the first one is a modern classic (how it hasn't been turned into an animation, I'll never know). Unfortunately for me, I've found that the subsequent books have slightly diluted the original somewhat. I think Jacques is a terrific writer, but it's about time he turned his hand to something ...

When are we going to see...

The Lord of the Owls again? After what he mentioned to Usagi the first time he met, I've been waiting for their second meeting avidly. (I didn't miss it did I?) Also, and this is in the dim, distant past too, I'm sure there was a very short story, which involved Usagi just walking along, and sensing...

'The Withered Field' is one of my personal favorites. The introduction of Koji is just wonderful. I also love 'Daisho' - the history of how a sword is made was fascinating.

However, I've yet to read a poor Usagi!

I like the TPBs better...for some reason, the single issues seem to be...cheapened somehow (don't kill me!). The paper is thinner, and for some reason it's just not the same looking to me. But I prefer to be able to have volumes instead of individual issues anyway, so I'm sure that ahs something to...

And whaddaya MEAN, how often can they bump into each other? usagi bumps into Gen ALL the TIME!! Quite honestly, I have the feeling that all Gen really does is continually stalk Usagi...obviously thinking (usually quite rightly) that wherever Usagi goes, trouble always rears its head, and Gen can th...

Has anyone seen the size of Jeff Smith's complete 'Bone' book - Only 9 books in all, and it's massive! As long as Dark Horse keep on publishing the collected editions with as much care as they seem to be doing at the moment, I'm quite proud to have them sitting on my bookshelf! 18 books and counting...

somehow? Well...the only way Usagi 'killed' Jei in Grasscutter was sticking him with the sword itself, which only led to Jei's soul (or spirit?) moving over to Inazuma. I reckon it's going to take a very delicate operation to remove Jei from Inazuma...and if it does happen, I don't think the poor w...

Re: Shades of Death and Daisho books.

Just out of interest Stan, did you really lose the colour negatives? Or did you just decide that for continuity's sake, you'd make them b&w? When Mirage ceased publication, they transferred the ownership of the negatives to me. The printer assured us that they could keep it inhouse, no trouble ...

Shades of Death and Daisho books.

In the long past, I had the colour comics of these tales. Whilst I thought Tom's colouring was pretty much perfect for the thing, I do prefer Usagi as a black and white strip. Just out of interest Stan, did you really lose the colour negatives? Or did you just decide that for continuity's sake, you'...

Mysterious...and equipped with a crappy sense of direction. He STILL hasn't found Usagi! I mean, come on... Two guys walking around a country the size of Great Britain. How often would they bump into each other? But he'll be back. Or, rather, Inazuma will. Whilst I think it was a great storyline, I...
