Not to go off topic, but a remake of "Harvey" is Stephen Spielberg's next project.

I still have to see the original before I can have an opinion about the remake.

I think the movie's major flaw is that it tries to cater to both the Serious Fans of the original comic and the usual Superhero Movie crowd. Forgive me for being out of the loop, but is there actually a big-budget remake of "Akira" in the works? And if so, how can a sabotage the production?

One of the things I was excited about when I moved to SoCal was the fact that I'd be in pretty close proximity to San Diego and, in turn, Comic Con. But this is the second year in a row that financial constraints are preventing me from attending. Darn recession!
