Totally agree. For some time I had the feeling, the story's weren't THAT good anymore, but issues 136-138 and 139-140 are excellent again. The Ishida story ist the best since "The Outlaw" which is one of my all time favs.

Re: Underrated Manga: Barefoot Gen

You will weep. You will weep like a little girl. And you won't be able to stop, either. Because this work will not only break your heart, it will tear it in half, crush it, grind it into paste, send it through a concrete mixer, and roll it out on the pavement. Absolutely right, concerning me. The G...

The sad sad thing about reading the comics is, that I'm missing the color-specials, as I can't afford to buy the collections in addition. :(

No, you're not the only one. I've also wanted him to hook up with Chizu.
One more vote für Chizu. :)

You're right about that. And of course it's hard to let an important charakter die or get crippled. As an author you dislike the idea, and many readers will be disappointed. How shocking was it, when in my favourite comic-series the main charakter died after 12 books.

The Treasure Of The Mother Of Mountains

After finally reading all 7 issues in a row, I wonder, why nobody yet started a conversation about it. Acutally I rather prefer the Storys, that go about one, two or three Issues, but I think, this one is better than the 2 Grasscutter-Series, though it seems to me, that it is geting harder and harde...

Comics:
1. Cover Art
2. Story Notes
3. Reader's Letters
4. Bigger Size
5. Comics should be read as comics. To have a real 24 pages comic and sit down in a train or in a chair with it has a feeling to it, that a paperback never is able to reach.

I think of Usagi as about 30 by know. In my imagination he's gut a rather high voice filled with sunshine and laughter and rather with dignity than proud, as he is to humble and modest for an all to proud voice. He should feel no need to try to speak in a very low register, as he is man enaugh, that...

Very typical epsiode, kind of unoriginal. Anyway, I enjoyed reading very much as I always do. I like to see Stans Artwork getting more and more adult. (i.e. page 10). Also the dialogue in this page is very hardboiled. Also I like the change in Usagi's behaviour over the years, as I understand it. Us...

Very good story, great cover-art. The story could've been a few sides longer, but the strict limitation to a number of pages is a (necessary) curse of comic. The end: I guess it's a sensful way of acting of Usagi, to let the boy be alone, but I doubt that Jotaro is old enaugh for such a thought. I c...

Hallo Mr. Sushi,

Dein Deutsch ist etwas "drollig", das heißt, es ist witzig und ein bisschen wie Kindersprache, aber man versteht sehr gut, was du meinst.

Your German is a little droll (as my English), but it's easy to understand.
