My copy was about the same as yours. Books get damaged much worse than this by the distributor's lack of packing care.

I was able to go to Cartoon Crossroads Columbus in Ohio yesterday to see Stan and meet Julie for the first time. A guy in line behind me was wearing one of the Usagi Nogginwear hats and had an Albedo #3 for Stan to sign. I said, "Nice. There are a lot of #3's out there... too bad you don't have...

Cartoon Crossroads Columbus is next weekend in Columbus, Ohio. The Expo portion runs Saturday and Sunday, Oct 15th and 16th.

Collecting comic books is more addictive than heroin But I imagine an addiction to collecting comics is a lot more fun than an addiction to heroin.... :shock: Comics shouldn't kill you, either. It's a different story if a bookcase full of graphic novels and hardcovers falls over on you, though.

I've been saddened to learn of Sharon's declining health, and I'm extremely sad and sorry to hear about her passing this...

I just found out this afternoon that I'll get to go to Gem City con later this month!! Yay!! I haven't met Mr. Sakai since the '07 San Diego con, and I can't remember the year he was at MidOhioCon, Motor City Comic Con, or near Ohio. I've accumulated several Usagi TPBs since then, so now to figure o...

You're going to be about an hour west of Columbus, where the MidOhioCons used to be held. Dayton is about three to four hours from where I am (near Canton), and I'm hoping to drive over to this show. I haven't been to a Gem City con yet and looking forward to next spring.
