Well DANG! There goes my only supposed lead!

Me too! I thought it was what we were supposed to find.

Well, I did find another hidden message, but somehow, I guess it isn't what Steve wants us to read  :

Come on guys, it is a "hidden message" not a simple word search puzzle!

(of course, that is after the chief monkey and his two dozen simian cronies informed me that a simple word search puzzle was too easy for all of you)

So the thing Kyle got you has nothing to do with the message? I'm stumped!

Did you misspell Sakai twice or was that just a coincidence? I noticed the letters were flip-flopped after you posted the newer version.

The thank you to Kyle for the awesome Jei t-shirt is just a red herring (and a way to publicly thank him). And the SAKIA /SAKASI was just an afterthought because the original letter combination looked too much like SAKAI, but apparently it did not help much.

Now I am hoping that all the clues I have given have not made it too easy again. :|

It is a good thing that there is't a limit on how many attempts can be made.....

Well, seeing that I'm not much more evolved than your average simian.... I think I'm still gonna need better clues.
Will give it another try tomorrow.

Is anyone getting close? I'll admit it, I'm stumped. Are we dealing with a type of cryptogram or cipher?
I know the stakes are high on this one, so I don't expect an easy reveal for us.... but I can't even figure out your clues.... :?

... ...

...says a lot for me I guess...

Another clue - only the chief monkey contributed to the "hidden message" while all the other monkeys typed gibberish.......

Well, what you mentioned there Steve, is what I was originally scouring for through the text and trying to determine some patterns, when I came across the word "awesome" and thought it was going to be a bit easier than I predicted. But of course, as we know, not heh. Maybe I'll turn my eye back to it...

Oh man, that's 45 minutes I'll never get back.

Day 1 guess - MY NEW JEI SHIRT IS REALLY AWESOME AND I WANT TO THANK KYLE FOR GETTING IT FOR ME! = Wrong
Day 2 guess - VIPER JOE! = what? SPOT! = Uhh, no
Day 3 - I don't even understand your clues.

Frank Cho = Monkeyboy
Stan Sakai = Chief monkey?

Where's Benedict Cumberbatch when you need him?
