That's the book I haven't read yet, but will in the next couple months.

Jabba359 wrote:When you say largest character in Sensei Sakai's work,
do you mean anything he's draw (even outside the Usagi universe)?

I'd wager that King Kong is one of the largest. In the "Kong of Skull Island" universe, Kong measures about 100'-120' tall.
I figure that Usagi, with ears (not pointed straight up), is about 6' tall.
That would make Kong approximately 17-20 Usagi's tall.

Perhaps even larger is Usagi Gundam.
I made some measurements of the drawings and figure that UG is about 30-34 Takenoko-Sensei's high.
Usagi is taller, so I'd imagine that UG is about 27-30 Usagi's tall.

I'm not trying to win, but thought it would be fun to participate in this challenge.
Thank you to all who participated.
Best wishes,
go
Kyle, why not try to win? You have every right to participate, and seriously, we need all the people possible participating. That is one of the main reasons for initiating these trivia contests in the first place.

And I really don't see any problem with you winning any of the contests and thereby being included in the Monthly Prize Pack drawings, even if you are handling those drawings yourself. If anyone seriously thinks that it would be so much of a conflict of interest, a substitute could do the random number if needed. But why would it even be needed since you could have your pick of any prize item before it ever made it into a prize pack, if you desired it enough to actually need to compromise a prize drawing.

Just saying, I think everybody here more than trusts you to let you play fun games with us.... :D

I agree with you there. What happened to weekly participants like BuckRogers, maichan, Usagi-chan, etc. I understand people have lives outside of the DojoBoard, but I always wonder what happens to people when they just disappear.
But why would it even be needed since you could have your pick of any prize item before it ever made it into a prize pack, if you desired it enough to actually need to compromise a prize drawing.
Yeah, we all know you got to keep the copy of Albedo 2 Stan donated. :P I don't see a problem with someone else using the randomizer if he was in the monthly drawing. Remember, Kyle also ships out all the prizes using his own money. That's got to add up quick. I sent some items over to him for the prize pack and it was around $13 for one package!

Must admit I'd forgotten about the space turtles. I was thinking Kong and dinosaurs and thinking Gundam Usagi was probably bigger than any of them, but was just focussing on the regular series heh.
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...

Haha, thanks guys but don't worry, I'm okay not winning. A lot of the items are freebies that I'm able to get for myself at the conventions. For a lot of the other items, when Stan (or if someone else donates multiples of an item) gives me a stack of the prizes, they usually tell me to keep one for myself if I want (which I have done from time to time - I couldn't resist keeping the entire box of 9.8CGC graded copies of Albedo #2 Stan gave me ).

If anything, I can participate in the trivia and, if I win a week, just won't put myself into the monthly giveaway. So any of my wins would just help increase the odds of the other weekly winners in that month's giveaway.
