I always wondered why I didn't get into an Ivy League school.
Now I know why. I give up.

Man, I am a glutton for punishment.
I
assumed all the trivia contests were Usagi related. Is that where I went wrong?

That was one of three assumptions I had... but then...

In light of the prizes on offer, I don't blame Steve for making the contest somewhat harder to solve heh.
There IS a message in there, trust me folks... messing around, solving codes and clues when I was young evidently paid off.

Well, I guess this contest is officially over and the second and third place winners can be announced, as well as the solution for the puzzle......
Of course, Go got in the first correct answer as previously announced, and won the big cool Mouse Guard b/w monster sized hardcover (lucky guy!).
Mayhem managed to squeeze his answer in just ahead of Maichan, winning the three Mouse Guard sketchbooks.
And last but not least, Maichan won himself a pair of Mouse Guard FCBD hardcovers, as well as a few paperback Mouse Guard FCBD comics.
Here is the solution for the puzzle.....
Every 25th letter combined to form "This is a hidden message"

Congratulations everyone!
Thank you Steve and Maka!
This was a fun contest.
But you said it best go, "...thanks most of all to Sensei Sakai for creating Usagi Yojimbo."
For without Usagi Yojimbo, our lives would all be a little less fun...
Domo arigatou gozaimasu!

Oh wow, that was the answer?! Work had been difficult this past week and every time I tried looking over this puzzle at night, my eyes glazed over.
Actually, this reminds me of Evanier's running gag of hiding a similar phrase within the pages of Groo. Great job with this one Steve!
