Deadline for answers is Friday.

First correct (or maybe best) answer gets a copy of The Witcher #1 with the Stan Sakai variant cover.

I have an idea :) , but will refrain from guessing until others have a chance (since I already have a copy of the Witcher variant).

Feel free to PM your answer. Even if you are not interested in the prize. I am always curious how many people follow my logic on some of these trivia questions....

I had an idea five seconds into looking at the images, but I don't think it's correct, as I think only four of the people, not five, share the connection I got. Unless I'm remembering wrongly. But we'll see heh...

Can we submit multiple guesses or is there a limit?

Time is running out, so submit your guess soon....

Here is a clue....

If Stan were to host a birthday party and invited just the kids, which person pictured above would not be able to attend with all the others?

And the answer is....?

Out of curiosity, what was the answer to your first question on the other thread?

Like Stan said, they were all characters drawn by him. :D

And they were all members of the Koroshi Assassins Guild.

And now to this weeks trivia....

OK, here are six youngsters who have appeared in the Usagi Yojimbo comics over the years. Send me a PM with your answer as to who is the odd one who does not fit in the group and why?

Keiko

Motokazu

Usagi

Gorogoro

Kiyoko

Noriyuki

Answers received:

1. Gorogoro is not Stan's own creation, but a character based on another artist's creation - Daigorō from Lone Wolf & Cub

2.Motokazu, because all the others have mentors/teachers/masters in one form or another.

3. Noriyuki is the only character who is royalty.

All good answers, unfortunately not what I was hoping for......

Here was the second clue....

If Stan were to host a birthday party and invited just the kids, which person pictured above would not be able to attend with all the others?

--------------------------------------------

Out of the six characters shown, Usagi is the only one who is not actually STILL a child any more.

So Steve, are you declaring no winner? I personally like the one about Gorogoro for the win (not my answer, by the way).

Oh good answer but I'm bummed because I mistook young Usagi as Jotaro instead. Oops! :)

The Gorogoro answer seemed best to me as well.

Since maichan already has a copy of the comic being offered as a prize......

Even mistaking Usagi for Jotaro, I think Jubei's answer concerning all of them having mentors/teachers/masters in one form or another except Motokazu seems like a great observation. While Keiko has Jei, Usagi had Katsuichi, Gorogoro has Yagi, Kiyoko has Kitsune, and Noriyuki has Tomoe, Motokazu never had any real connection with anyone beyond being the son of General Ikeda, a relationship which has never really been emphasized or explored (yet).

So Jubei is hereby declared winner of the first weekly trivia challenge, and I just need to dig up a current address to mail him the awesome Stan Sakai variant cover version of The Witcher #1 as his prize.

:D

And I am also hoping it does not have all the problems the last prize I mailed out had with the US Postal Service!
