This is probably a reasonably easy one, but as I'm busy this week, I can't spend hours creating the most devious, hard to find puzzle. Maybe next time
When the first three Colour Specials were eventually collated into a trade collection, the originals for the first comic were found to have gone AWOL. Stan redrew the entire story as a result. Which named character did he "add" into the story that had not been originally featured in the first version?

Given I've not had ANY responses yet, maybe I've made this harder than I actually thought
Right, time for a clue then...
The first three Color Specials are collated into the trade "Tomoe's Story". The first of these, as noted, had to be redrawn by Stan because the original b/w art could not be found. Comparing the original Color Special release to the redrawn version, there are a few panels, angles and ideas that are changed slightly. There also happens to be someone introduced into a panel in the redrawn version connected to Tomoe, that wasn't there in the original, primarily because that person did not "exist" in the world of Usagi at the time the original was made. So... who is that person?

Ohhhh, this is a tough one from a resources point of view for me! I have the tbp Tomoe's Story but I am not sure if I have the first colour special! I will need to dig through my Usagi stack at home and see! Great question!
The Credit Belongs to the Man Who is Actually in the Arena ....
I have to apologize also for not participating in any of the trivia questions to date.
I read them all, but unfortunately, my reason is similar Maka's situation - I also don't have much time to research the answers.
Hopefully you get some feedback from other members soon.
Well, time's up I guess... and I did have one correct answer come through heh...
So congrats to Steve Hubbell!
In the original rendition of Tomoe's Story (the first Color Special tale), Tomoe is seen practising with her brother in an early panel. In the redrawn version, this still happens, but Stan inserted a background cameo from Tomoe's bitter "cousin" Noriko in the equivalent panel. Noriko was the main antagonist from the "Mother of Mountains" story arc.
If I get a chance, I'll scan the panels and put them up to show, unless someone can do it before me...
