OK, everyone here should know how obsessive / compulsive my Usagi collection is, so imagine my surprise when I recently learned of the existence of a story appearance which I had been totally unaware of.....
Simple question:
When and where did the Usagi Yojimbo story "Samurai part 1" first appear?

Nothing tricky about the question, just asking for the name, issue number, and release date of the publication in which Samurai part 1 first appeared in.

I was vaguely aware of a preview of Samurai in another publication prior to UJ #1, but for the life of me that I can think currently, I've never found out or remembered where that was. Guess you discovered the answer Steve! Question is, whether anyone else will...

Thanks everybody... No way do I get this answer without Steve's first clue...thanks for a push in the right direction Steve.
So now I have to come up with next weeks question but I must warn you I have no Usagi prizes to hand out
