Weekly Trivia Contest May 25 - 31
Just a quick simple little trivia puzzle.....
Name the first three non-Usagi covers Stan Sakai has been credited for....
Please list book title, issue number, publisher, date, and characters featured.
Please PM me your answers.
Bonus Woo Whoo's for also listing the same details for the LAST three non-Usagi covers Stan has had published.
Good luck!
* "Non-Usagi" means Usagi is not a primary character in the cover art....

Steve! That's challenging one. But I guess the internet is a good place to start.
Peace, maka

There has been one almost perfect answer submitted so far. Hopefully the holiday weekend will not keep everyone from sending in their answers.
Re: Weekly Trivia Contest May 25 - 31
One guess only? I would like to double and triple check my answer if that's the case.

Can Usagi be part of a group shot with different Non-Sakai characters? I don't quite understand the *"Non-Usagi" means Usagi is not a primary character in the cover art...

I was originally thinking any cover other than an issue of Usagi Yojimbo, but there are some of those like the Anything Goes cover or the Amazing heroes cover which feature Usagi. Others, such as Stan's Shanda the Panda cover have Usagi drawn in as a stuffed rabbit.Gaffey wrote:Can Usagi be part of a group shot with different Non-Sakai characters? You surprised me by suggesting an issue of Usagi Yojimbo which does not feature Usagi on the cover, I had not considered that possibility prior to your answer.
Surprisingly, out of the two answers so far, both are missing that first cover by Stan which does not have Usagi on it as the primary character.....

OK, last day for this contest!
Since this was a little more difficult than planned, here is a last chance clue to even the playing field.....

.....and a chance to show off a lot of cool covers.

I didn't think Witty World was a possible answer because Usagi was on the cover twice. I was totally confused by this question.

I was so confident in my answers until the clues posted this morning. I have since edited my guess and hopefully did not remove previously correct answersGaffey wrote:I didn't think Witty World was a possible answer because Usagi was on the cover twice. I was totally confused by this question.

Oh well still an interesting question and I'm super curious about the final correct answers.
Re: Weekly Trivia Contest May 25 - 31
Since Steve did not post one of my cover guesses above, because it was wrong
, I thought I would share it with you.
Army Surplus Komikz Featuring: Cutey Bunny #3 - JQ Enterprises - January 1984 - Cutey Bunny and a sea monster.
I thought I was being clever and found a super early Sakai cover. Stan's name does not appear on the cover, but he did draw something on the interior of the front cover.
I wonder if anyone tried for the "Bonus Woo Whoo's"?
I'll give it one more shot.

Hmmmm, this one was only supposed to run until May 31, which would qualify the winner for the May prize pack. What do you guys think, should I put the winner of this one into the May giveaway even though it's now ending in June?
