Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

This week I thought we could do something a bit different. Below is a word search puzzle with names of some characters from the Usagi Universe. What you will need to do is find all of the names hidden in the puzzle and determine the total number of names. The total number of names will need to be multiplied by two and this will be your next number. This new number will be the issue number from the original Fantagraphics run and you will need to supply me, by PM, the first sentence spoken in this issue. The first person with the correct answer will win for this week. Good luck to everyone.

So...something that I didn't think about has happened The word search generator that I used created a puzzle that does have all of the names that I had chose in it, however it did add additional names in as well. With the Japanese names that are used in Usagi, it didn't even click in my head that some additional names might slip in. As of now I have received a PM that has a list of names with one name missing from my initial list but three additional names that can be found in the puzzle. I wanted to open it up to comments on how people think I should handle this one. Sorry about the foul up

I think you should disqualify that guy and go with your original list.

So I checked in with the person that is currently closest to getting all of the names that I had included, but did find some extras, and he thought it would work to keep this game open to see if anyone gets all the names on my original list. So keep PMing in your guesses and include the names you find.

One clue for everyone...Jei was not on my original list but his name does show up in the puzzle

Please tell me Gen is not in this puzzle. I spent every commercial break looking for him.

I got some really good guesses this week, with a lot of the names on my original list and some additional names that people found in the puzzle that were unintended. The answer to the ultimate question this week was "Even Money?". I had intended for the puzzle to include the 13 names below which would lead you to issue #26. I did not receive this as an answer from anyone however I did receive one lone entry that had all 13 of the original names with two extra names thrown in that lead him to a different issue #.
