Usagi Trivia Contest for November 9 - 15

Usagi and Tomoe have had a very long history together. Over the course of their relationship, there are two separate occassions which could be equally considered their first meeting.
Please list the names of the stories, and describe why either story could be considered their first encounter with each other.

I'm pretty sure I know which other story Steve is referring to. Unfortunately, I can't look for the stories titles or numbers as I don't have the books with me.

Knew the titles to both stories immediately. Had no clue which trade the latter story was in though, and had to go look that up!

We now have three answers in.
One more day for the contest if anyone wants to reconsider their answers and / or edit them.....
Ya' know there has to be more to it than just throwin' out a couple of titles....

Tomoe ask for forgiveness and then introduces her self to Usagi before they are interrupted by bounty hunters. Fun fact, Usagi doesn't official introduce himself to Tomoe or Noriyuki. He introduces himself to the bounty hunters.

I just happened to be reading UY #146 yesterday and saw the reference to 'A funny thing happened on the way to the tournament' in the letters page. I didn't chance it because I hadn't read the details of the story, and more importantly, I was way too late!
(And just a day after, Saga #3 drops through my letterbox, and there it is! Blimey.)

I don't have a question, but I can put together a quick match game. It will be Usagi related.
