According to Google translate, the first one appears to say "ten" (perhaps a ten ryo reward?). The second one says "Miyamoto Usagi".

According to the story it says, "Five thousand ryo reward for the death or capture of the Lone Goat assassin. He travels with his kid in a baby cart."

I suppose you could consider that a hint.

It's just scribble. I took the picture with Macro Mode turned on and that was the clearest image I could get. Maybe it can be read on the original art if Stan actually wrote something.
