Before Stan published Usagi, he used to illustrate for a variety of merchandise, ads, etc. For this week, I want to know what kind of things he did. Try not to be too granular with your submissions (for example, if he did a set of four tea cups for Target, that would be one submission, but don't submit that he did a horse teacup, a frog teacup, a cat teacup, and an aardvark teacup as four different submissions). Post your answers (up to one per day) in the comments below.
Pictures are nice, but not necessary as I'm sure a lot of his stuff isn't well documented. I'll kick us off with one thing that you should all know. Stan did a line of cards for pets called "The Literary Pet". These were designed to be given to your pet, or your pet could give the card to you.

Stan created a children’s puzzle of the alphabet.
It was one of those wood letter puzzles with each letter being represented by Stan’s artwork of a corresponding animal or object.
I’ve seen a picture of this but can’t find it again.

Stan did record album art. Can't find any examples on the web.

You might have seen it in the documentary.Trevis Woods wrote:Stan created a children’s puzzle of the alphabet.

Stan talked about doing the artwork for a children's album at his panel on Sunday. I believe he said he did 20-30 drawings inside the album book as well. Coincidentally, it was hearing about the album that inspired my weekly trivia.Maka wrote:Stan did record album art. Can't find any examples on the web.Peace, maka
