I'm finishing up UY 151 The Bride. Here is a step-by-step look at a panel. The paper is 11x17" Strathmore 500 series, 2-ply cold press bristol with a 10x15" image area. The top panel itself is 4 7/8x10".
I penciled lightly with a 3mm 2H mechanical pencil then defined lines with a 5mm HB.
I inked the foreground with a older Koh-i-noor Artpen (discontinued), using Badger Black Opaque ink (old formula).
Backgrounds were inked with a newer, less flexible Koh-i-noor Artpen.
Blacks are spotted with a brush, then details and textures added.
