I write and draw Usagi Yojimbo, and so it is not unusual to change the story or scenes at any stage of the process. Earlier this week I posted page 9 of the story I had just turned in. That page had been redrawn. This is the original, along with the new page.
There was another page that had been redone, but that was in its pencil stage when I made the decision to change it.
As usual it was drawn on 11x17 inch 2-ply 500 series cold press Strathmore bristol with a 10x15 inch image area. I used a Koh-i-Noor ArtPen and Badger Black Opaque ink (old formula).
That original page is fantastic! I wonder if Stan is going to sell it. I know he's sold unused pages in the past and I'd certainly be interested in buying this one.
