Turned in the art for the Usagi Yojimbo Book 31: The Hell Screen hardcover endpaper. Two-ply 500 series Strathmore bristol paper.
Pencils roughed out with a .03 mm 2H mechanical pencil.
Final pencils with .05 mm HB lead.
Foreground inked with Koh-i-Noor ArtPen.
Background with a newer fountain pen.
Pencils are erased, then blacks are spotted and clothing details added to foreground characters.
Background textures added, and finished.
Here are some of the drawing tools I used. L-R: .03 mm mechanical pencil, .05 mm pencil. eraser, Koh-i-Noor ArtPen, handmade pen, Pentel Brush Pen (filled with my own ink).
